Hello all, just a quick update to let you know about my new job. I went for an interview at a photography studio last week and today they rang me back and offered me a position within their studio team!

I start on January 13th but most of the first few months will be taken up by training since it's all studio portrait work. But I'm really looking forward to it since I get to stay with the customer from start to finish, from getting their custom, to taking the photos, through to Photoshop work and then selling the prints.

The work is both traditional family and child portraits in one studio and then makeover and fashion shoots in the other, and I'll be learning all about every last little bit of it, I can even learn how to do the makeup for the makeovers if I want to!

I'll keep the journal up to date on progress, it'll be interesting to see if they let me upload some of the shots here...
